The Galloping Guru, located upstate New York, specialize in conditioning, horse training, horses for lease or sale, fox hunting and customized riding lessons. They conduct a full range of equestrian activities on-site, including unrecognized hunter/ jumper shows, dressage shows, specialized clinics with nationally and internationally recognized instructors, as well as summer programs and periodic evening programs. They also provide coaching and transportation to off-site shows at the local level through “AA” Rated level. Along with this traditional aspect of horseback riding, the Galloping Guru also offers educational seminars, field trips, fundraisers and community service activities.
Ericka Rose wanted her logo to be an ambiguous mix between horse and fox, since her business centers around American fox hunting. She leases out experienced hunt and hunter pace horses to individuals who participates in these events. She also loves antiqua fonts. I furnished her with the gorgeous Carrig Display font which has lovely open lowercase g's.
Custom social icon
Because most social platforms have a profile circle to fill. It can become quite awkward to try and fit a logo nicely in there. I often design a custom social icon for my clients. In this case we dropped 'Galloping Guru', since most social platforms write out the name next to the icon anyway.
