Poprally hosted the Neohoodoo event at MOMA PS1 in December 2008, where Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber performed under the legendary late Greg Tate.
I was truly honored to work on this poster. It features the logo I made for them, which has been with them for over two decades and on all their albums. The 'mummies' originated when I pitched an album design for Aerosmith which was to be named Ultra Sound. I wanted to photograph the band at a NASA pool equipped with ultra sound cameras. NASA was super excited about this, but Aerosmith wasn't. So some of the work I did for this pitch evolved into some personal fine art, and then made its way onto this poster instead.
