teddycrockett: Sell The World

This is the new EP by teddycrockett, a Brooklyn based musician. Crockett's father was a musician too, and he believed there were only four music genres: jazz, rock, gospel and classical. Anything with a back beat he considered rock. He listened to R&B, soul, classic rock, punk, and hip hop and so Crockett grew up believing all music was pretty much related.

With Crockett's new EP Sell The World, he taps into the timeless songwriting styles that he grew up loving – solid, tuneful songs that will never go out of style. Crockett is not afraid to wear his influences openly on his sleeve, because none of the cats he looks up to — Jimi, Prince, Marvin, Sly — hid where they came from. It is said 'the good ones borrow but the great ones steal' and Crockett is reaching towards greatness.
